I am the engineer responsible for our 2512 high-tensile line, and this is the band I developed for two of the hardest jobs in heavy industry: brick bundles and aluminum ingot stacks. The 2512 is built 25 mm wide and 1.2 mm thick, which lifts the breaking strength to 11760 N, the highest figure we produce. That extra figure matters on metal: a dense aluminum ingot has sharp, unforgiving edges, and a thinner strap will cut or creep long before it ever reaches its rated load. I
