I am the engineer behind our 2510 line, our heaviest PET strapping, and I will tell you straight away where it belongs. The 2510 is our flagship: a 25 mm ultra-wide width and a 1.0 mm body that reach a breaking strength of 10000 N, the highest we build. This is the band I specify when the load itself is dangerous — steel coils, concrete piles, heavy machinery — and a failed strap is not an option. We extrude every roll from virgin PET resin on our own line, and I personally verify the tensile and dimensional results on each batch before it is released.
This is a 2510 coil from my line, wound on a 250 mm core. The 25 mm ultra-wide face is why it works on extreme loads: it spreads the force over the widest contact area we offer, so the strap resists cutting into a coil edge even at full tension.
Key FeaturesWhen I am asked to bundle a load that would be dangerous if it shifted, I reach for the 2510 rather than a thinner band doubled up. The 25 mm width gives the widest contact area in our range, so the 10000 N breaking strength is applied over more surface and the risk of the strap cutting into a steel coil or stone slab edge drops sharply. It is the direct replacement for heavy steel banding on loads that would otherwise demand expensive, corrosion-prone, sharp-edged metal strap. In short: it is the band I trust on the loads I would not take a chance on.
Every 2510 roll is extruded from virgin resin on my line and drawn to align its molecular structure. Because I control the extrusion temperatures and draw ratio myself, the 10000 N tensile strength and stable elongation hold true batch after batch.

On the heaviest loads, buyers often assume steel is the only safe option. Here is the comparison I give them:
| Property | PET Strap (2510) | Steel Strap |
|---|---|---|
| Corrosion | Rust-free, no staining | Rusts and can mark goods |
| Weight | Lightweight, easier to handle | Heavy, harder on operators |
| Safety | Safer handling, no sharp edges | Sharp edges, risk of cuts |
| Recycling | Recyclable, eco-friendly | Heavier recycling burden |
| Surface Safe | Won't scratch finished goods | Can dent and scratch surfaces |
What I tell every buyer is this: with the 2510 you keep the 10000 N holding power you would get from steel, and you lose the rust, the sharp edges and the metal weight that comes with it.
ApplicationsI built the 2510 for the jobs that scare other straps: steel and aluminium coils, concrete piles, granite and marble slabs, large machinery and oversized finished goods. It is what I recommend as a direct replacement for heavy steel banding where rust, sharp edges and metal weight are constant problems, and it performs reliably across long-distance ocean freight, rail and road transport.
This is the 2510 doing the job I designed it for: holding a super-heavy load tight and square through handling and transport, with the ultra-wide face keeping the bundle intact even when the load shifts.
Quality ControlEvery batch passes the checks I insist on before it can ship, because at 10000 N I do not sign off on assumptions:
Each 2510 roll is wrapped in thick waterproof film and packed in reinforced export cartons, then stacked on wooden pallets wrapped in stretch film and secured with PET strap for stable loading. We welcome third-party inspection and factory audits; our manufacturing process is certified to ISO 9001, and our raw materials are SGS-verified, PFAS-free and halogen-free.
Finished rolls are consolidated onto export pallets and unitised with the same PET strap we sell — the clearest proof of its holding power under real shipping conditions.
Each roll is wound on a rigid 250 mm core and precision-cut to a consistent 25 mm width, so the strap feeds cleanly through high-tension automated heads and manual tensioners alike.
