Hello, I am the engineer who makes this strap, and I will explain it in plain language even if you are new to strapping. This 2510 is a wide-format heavy-duty PET strap: 25 mm wide and 1.0 mm thick, with a rated breaking strength of 9,800 N. If that number means little to you, picture a strap that will not snap until you hang around a full tonne of pull on it. This is a 2510 roll. The broad 25 mm face is the whole idea behind it — it spreads the holding force so the load is not crushed at the strap line.

Every batch is pulled and measured before release: I confirm the 9,800 N rating, the elongation window and the weld, so the strength you sign off on is the strength you receive.

On heavy loads a strap failure is expensive, so every batch passes the same checks before it ships:

• Tensile testing: I pull a sample from each batch to confirm the 9,800 N breaking strength and the 11%–14% elongation range.
• Dimension and appearance inspection: width, thickness and roll geometry are measured to the 25 mm / 1.0 mm / 250 mm specification, with a clean, uniform finish.
• Performance testing: elongation and weld strength are checked, with weld efficiency held ≥85% of breaking strength.
• Lateral stability check: the strap is confirmed to stay flat under tension, so it will not roll or twist in service.
