Hello, I am the engineer who makes this strap. I will keep it simple even if you have never bought strapping before. This 1912 is our green heavy-load PET strap: 19 mm wide and 1.2 mm thick, with a rated breaking strength of 9,120 N. In everyday terms, it will not snap until you hang about 930 kg of pull on it. It is called a green strap because it is green in colour and made from recyclable PET, so it suits buyers who care about the environment as well as strength. It is built for heavy export goods — stone, metal, bricks and large pallets — and works by hand or by machine.
This is the 1912 roll. The green colour is easy to spot on a pallet, and the thick 1.2 mm body is what gives it its heavy-load strength.
Q: What is a green PET strap, in plain words? It is a strong plastic band, made from PET (the same material family as drink bottles), that ties goods onto a pallet or into a bundle. PET strapping does the job of old steel banding but without the rust and sharp edges. The "green" part means two things here: green is its colour, and it is made from recyclable polyester, so it is a friendlier choice for the environment.
Q: What does 9,120 N actually mean for me?Newtons are the engineer's unit for pull force, and they mean very little at a glance, so here is the useful version: 9,120 N is roughly 930 kg of pull before the strap breaks. Think of it as being able to hold close to a tonne. That is heavy-duty territory — this roll is for your heavier goods, not for light parcels.
Every roll is made on our own line. Running one recipe at volume is how I keep the strength and the colour consistent on every roll you receive.
Q: Will it hold my heavy load?Yes — heavy loads are exactly what the 1912 is built for. Its 19 mm width spreads the holding force over a wide face, so heavy goods are held tight without being dented or cut at the strap line. It also has good weather resistance and low stretch, so the binding stays tight through long storage and long sea journeys. For steel coils or the very heaviest cargo, I would move you up to our 25 mm grade; for stone, metal ingots, bricks and big pallets, this is my recommendation.
Q: Can I use it by hand, or do I need a machine? Both work. If you are just starting out, you can strap by hand with a simple tensioner and a heat-seal tool — no machine required. The same roll also runs on semi-automatic and automatic strapping machines, so you can begin by hand and scale up later without changing your strap. We supply both machine-use and hand-use options for export orders.
Q: Why choose the green / recycled option? If your business cares about sustainability — or your customers ask about it — this is the roll for you. It is made from PET polyester, which is recyclable, and the green colour reads clearly as an eco-friendly choice on a finished pallet. You get the same heavy-duty strength as our standard straps, with a material story you can put in front of your own buyers.
The eco point in one line: PET strap is recyclable and, unlike steel banding, it does not rust, so it protects your goods and is easier to dispose of responsibly. Ask me for the material note if you need it for your own sustainability reporting.
| Point | This green PET strap | Old steel banding |
|---|---|---|
| Rust | Never rusts, will not stain goods | Rusts and can mark goods |
| Safety | No sharp edges, safe for bare hands | Sharp edges; dangerous if it snaps |
| Weight | Light, one person can handle it | Heavy and awkward |
| Environment | Recyclable PET, green colour | Scrap metal handling and freight |
One roll holds about 680 m of strap and weighs about 20 kg, so one person can carry and load it. That is a long length, which means fewer coil changes during a shift — handy when you are packing pallets all day.
Q: What can I strap with it?In short: if it is heavy and needs to stay put on a pallet or in a bundle, this roll can hold it.
Before a batch ships, I pull a sample and test it to confirm the 9,120 N strength and the weld — so what you order is what you get.
Q: How is it made and checked? Our company certificates and test reports are open for you to check — you do not have to take our word for quality.
Q: Who makes it, and can I trust the certificates? We are Xiangyang Suhai Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., a real factory founded in February 2011 in Hubei, China, and recognised as a National High-Tech Enterprise (Certificate No. GR202442006492, issued 26 December 2024, valid for three years). We were selected for Hubei Province's 7th batch of Specialised, Refined, Differentiated and Innovative SMEs. Our manufacturing is certified under quality, environmental and occupational health & safety management systems, and our products are supported by SGS test reports. Certificate copies are available on request for your file.
Our technical records. This is the work behind a consistent strength rating — not just a number on a box.
Q: How do I order, and how does it ship?As the factory, we keep it easy. A 5 ton minimum keeps the price fair, and you can customise the colour (green or black), the roll length and weight, and add a printed logo. Our complete lines give a stable output of 3,000 tons per month, so repeat orders stay on schedule. Each roll is film-wrapped and packed on wooden pallets for container or full-truck transport, with delivery in about 5–8 working days. A sample test before a big order is always welcome.
Finished rolls are pack-wrapped and loaded for export — dry, protected and ready to use the moment they arrive at your site.
Container loading, checked before seal. Every order is verified for count and packaging integrity before it leaves us.
Q: Still not sure which strap is right for me?Do not worry — that is normal for a first order. Send me a photo of a loaded pallet and tell me roughly what it weighs, and I will point you to the right size and strength, honestly. If you are packing heavy goods for export, this 1912 green roll is very likely the one.
Our factory. As a direct manufacturer we run production, inspection and packing ourselves — the reason the strength and colour stay the same order to order.
In-house process control. One recipe at volume is how we keep quality consistent, supply stable and pricing factory-direct.
On the production floor. Even tension along the band is what makes the strap run cleanly through your tools and machine.
Our engineering team. We match your load and tool to the right strap, so you are not guessing on your first order.
Finished-goods storage. We hold stock so repeat and mixed orders ship without a long production wait.
Warehouse, inspection area and export loading under one roof — in-house control from start to shipment.
