Hello, I am the engineer who makes this strap, and I will explain it in plain words even if this is your first time buying PET strapping. This 1608 is our lightweight, flexible green PET strap: 16 mm wide and 0.8 mm thick, with a rated breaking strength of 5,120 N. If you are not used to these numbers, think of it this way — it will not snap until you hang about 520 kg of pull on it. That is plenty for everyday packing. It is built for light and medium loads: large cartons, e-commerce parcels, daily-chemical products and general factory packing. Because it is wide and thin, it is bendy and gentle on boxes, so it holds your goods without crushing them. For a first-time buyer packing cartons and pallets, this is the safe, easy, low-cost choice.

This is the 1608 roll. It is light enough for anyone to lift, and it bends easily around a carton corner without cracking.

• Dimension inspection: width, thickness and coil length are measured to hold the 16 mm / 0.8 mm / 1,200 m size.
• Surface inspection: every coil is checked for a clean, even finish with no rough edges.
• Weld strength check: the sealed joint is tested to confirm it holds at full strength.

A 5 ton minimum keeps the price fair, and our complete lines give a stable output of 3,000 tons per month so repeat orders stay on schedule. Each roll is wrapped in plastic protective film and stacked on standard wooden pallets for container or full-truck transport, with delivery in 5–10 working days after deposit. A sample test before a big order is always welcome.
