5040N 14mm PET Packing Belt Factory Cargo Bundling PET Strapping

I am the engineer who specifies this grade, and the 1409 is our balanced-toughness mid-light belt — the grade I recommend to buyers who need more than a light strap but do not want to pay for a full heavy spec. It is a 14 mm × 0.9 mm PET packing belt rated at 5,040 N with 9%–13% elongation, supplied at about 1,211 m per coil. The engineering point is balance: an over-thin strap goes brittle and snaps, an over-thick strap turns hard and fights the bend radius; the 1409 is deliberately set between them, so it bends cleanly through semi-automatic machines and manual tools while still carrying a genuine mid-light industrial load. For the vast majority of general factory, warehouse and distribution-centre packing, this is the economically rational choice.

If you are breaking light straps on mid-light work but the heavy grade is more spec — and cost — than the job needs, the 1409 is the targeted middle.

Why balance matters more than raw strength here: on mid-light loads the failure is rarely a clean tensile overload. It is a tooling and handling problem — an over-thin strap suffers stress cracking at the seal and in the feed channel, while an over-thick strap is too stiff to run smoothly through a semi-automatic head and creases at small bend radii. The 1409's optimised integrated-moulding process holds uniform tension along the length and stable mechanical properties, so it feeds cleanly by machine and by hand without the brittleness of an over-thin belt or the excessive hardness of an over-thick one.

Specified for industrial finished products, carton stacks, light pallets, hardware accessories, building-material bundles and regular logistics cargo — the standard mid-light load group found in factories, warehouses and distribution centres. It is the everyday production belt, not the specialist heavy grade.
