I am the engineer who developed the 3212, and I will set out exactly what it is and when to buy it. This is our super-wide jumbo PET strapping belt: 32 mm wide, 1.2 mm thick, rated at 15,360 N with 10%–14% elongation, supplied at about 398 m per coil. It was developed independent of our standard grades precisely because 19 mm conventional heavy straps run out of bearing area on oversized, super-heavy cargo — the stress concentrates on a narrow line and the load displaces. The 3212 answers that with geometry: an ultra-large contact face and a thickened wall. As the manufacturer, I supply it factory-direct with a stable spec, so this page is written for buyers who need one oversized-heavy grade they can standardise on without guessing.
The 3212 coil. A 32 mm × 1.2 mm jumbo section rated at 15,360 N — our widest heavy belt, for oversized super-heavy loads.
(A) Jumbo Grade PositioningHere is where the 3212 sits against a conventional heavy strap, so the choice is explicit:
| Tier | Model | Width / thickness | Break strength | Load segment |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Conventional heavy | 1910 | 19 mm / 1.0 mm | 7,600 N | Standard heavy pallets, metal, stone |
| Jumbo super-heavy | 3212 (this product) | 32 mm / 1.2 mm | 15,360 N | Oversized cargo, large cases, engineering materials |
If your load is at the top of the heavy band — too big or too heavy for a 19 mm strap to bind stably — the 3212 is the targeted grade. It is not a bigger standard strap; it is a different class built for the oversized load.
Our manufacturing plant. The 3212 jumbo section is extruded and drawn on our own lines, so width and wall thickness are controlled at source.
(B) Engineering RationaleWhy extra width rather than only higher tensile: on oversized cargo the failure mode is rarely a clean tensile overload. It is pressure concentration and load displacement — a narrow strap digs into the cargo or the pallet edge, loses grip and lets the load shift. Raising tensile within a narrow width does not fix that; raising the bearing area does. The 3212 pairs a 32 mm ultra-wide body with a 1.2 mm thickened wall, so the huge cargo pressure is dispersed across a far larger contact surface, preventing strap breakage, cargo displacement and packaging collapse in long-distance transport and stacked storage. Integral forming keeps tension uniform along the length with no weak points, and the high-purity new PET resin gives toughness, bending resistance and aging resistance.
(C) Anti-Loosening, ExplainedOn a jumbo strap like this, loosening is the quiet failure that matters most. Under a sustained super-heavy load the band slowly stretches — creep — and if it stretches too far the pack slackens and the load shifts, often without a single broken strap to show for it. The 3212 resists that with the very same 32 mm ultra-wide body and 1.2 mm wall that give it its bearing area: the thicker section carries the load further from its yield point, so creep stays small, and the integral forming gives the band a uniform orientation along its length so there is no soft spot that relaxes first. In practice, an oversized pallet or large case that left your yard tight is still tight at the far end of a sea leg — the tension you set is the tension that arrives.

On this grade the thickness is not a rounding detail. At 32 mm wide, the 1.2 mm wall is what turns a wide band into a genuinely jumbo one: it delivers the 15,360 N break strength and, just as importantly, the stiffness and creep resistance a super-heavy load demands. Go thinner and the band would still be wide, but it would stretch under sustained load and the pack would loosen — however impressive the width looked. We draw the band to a nominal 1.2 mm and check it with a calibrated calliper at several points along each coil, because a strap that quietly arrives under-thickness would quietly lose both strength and tension retention. In one line: on the 3212, 1.2 mm is the thickness that earns the jumbo rating — below it, you are just widening a strap.
(F) Surface and CompatibilitySpecified for oversized, super-heavy cargo that conventional straps cannot bind stably: large industrial mechanical equipment, heavy stone slabs and bulk marble, super-large wooden packaging cases, overweight container pallets and engineering materials. This is the grade for heavy industry, stone processing, engineering-equipment and large logistics operations — the load class where a strap failure is a safety and claim event.
(H) A Brick-Plant CaseHere is a case from a building-materials yard I work with. Large brick and block packs are strapped onto oversized pallets and heavy stillages, then moved to the quay and container-loaded. On a standard heavy strap the packs kept settling — the sharp brick edges bit into the band, it stretched a little under the sustained load, and the top courses began to shift before the container was even sealed. We moved them onto the 3212 without changing the pallet layout or their manual tools. The wide 32 mm face spread the edge pressure and the 1.2 mm wall held the tension, so the packs rode tight through loading and the sea leg. It is the same story I hear from stone and block yards: on oversized, abrasive packs the fix is bearing area and retained tension, not a thicker narrow strap.
(I) Supplier Support and ServicesI have listed the checks; here is how they run, so the numbers are earned rather than claimed. Tensile: a sample from each batch is clamped in the rig and pulled to failure, reading peak load and elongation — it must break above 15,360 N and within the 10%–14% window, or the batch is held. Dimension: a calibrated calliper checks width and thickness at several points along the coil and the length is metered as the band winds, so a 32 mm / 1.2 mm / 398 m coil is verified rather than assumed. Edge and surface: every coil passes an even-finish, burr-free inspection. Weld: we heat-seal a sample joint and load it to failure to confirm the seal holds at full strength, because on a super-heavy pallet the seal is usually the first thing to give, not the band. A batch ships only when all four pass, and the record stays with us for traceability.
(L) CertificationThis product is manufactured by Xiangyang Suhai Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., founded February 2011 in Hubei, China, and recognised as a National High-Tech Enterprise (Certificate No. GR202442006492, issued 26 December 2024, valid for three years). The company was selected for Hubei Province's 7th batch of Specialised, Refined, Differentiated and Innovative SMEs. Manufacturing is certified under quality, environmental and occupational health & safety management systems, and products carry SGS test reports — the file overseas buyers require for customs clearance, supply-chain audits and end-customer compliance review.
Tensile testing. I confirm the 15,360 N rating, the 10%–14% elongation window and the weld on every release — the seal is the usual system failure point.
(M) Scale, Packaging and Commercial TermsOur factory runs dedicated ultra-wide PET strapping lines with sufficient stock of the 3212, so we complete mass-production and customised orders on schedule. Each roll is wrapped in multi-layer waterproof and dust-proof protective film and packed in thickened reinforced export cartons — compression-resistant and drop-proof for long-distance sea, land and air transport and heavy container loading.
